This house has been designed on a stunning coastal site with views out to the Mangawhai Heads. The ground level is anchored into the site, with the surrounding natural contours of the site left untouched. The upper level is clad with cedar which has been detailed to delicately wrap over the window forms and hang over the ground floor level. Cantilevered balconies and cedar slat screens provide sheltered outdoor spaces which capture the view.
