This home was designed for a young family and utilises an existing garage as the lower level in a two storey development.

The mid-century style was developed to suite the clients taste and the elevated roof line over the lounge provides ample light and views while still providing important shading to the west. The site layout maximises open green spaces and planting potential to the west.

Features include; rainwater harvesting, thermally modified timber and no imported hard woods. Re-use of Rimu from the existing house on site. Thermally broken joinery, recessed for optimal performance. Decentralised heat recovery ventilation system for a healthy interior environment.
