Environmentally Friendly Design
We’ve designed this home with the aim of striking a balance between Design, Energy Efficiency, Sustainability and Health. The site and views face west, so we’ve used a higher pitched roof with highlight windows to draw in extra northern light.
Energy Efficiency & Sustainability
Passive solar design to maximise heat gain in winter and minimise it in summer. Increased insulation values and increased air tightness to reduce heat loss. NZ-grown timber is used for the structure, cladding and decking.
